Castaic Lake Park Headquarters — Attraction in Santa Clarita

Castaic lake and the Lagoon are different bodies of water right next to each other. The lagoon has 2 swim areas for kids with lifeguards on duty in the water, by the water and in the towers. Although it’s a lagoon, they have a chlorine drop that helps keep the water clean. You can also fish ( or in the swim areas) for sunfish, bluegill and bass here. My son caught a sunfish 5 minutes fishing by the floating dock. By the way, don’t get on there or you will get yelled at. lol

Recommend getting here early to get a good parking spot. The bathrooms were very clean at the beginning but got trashed near the end of the day. I recommend getting your business done before noon. I went there for the first time on Labor day 9/2/13 and paid $11, drove in, couldn't find a parking spot. Got out to use the bathroom with car running and family waiting and the bathroom line was outrageous and the whole bathroom floors, seats were covered in toilet paper and feces. Made a complaint with office and asked for refund of $11. Even though I did NOT stay or park, they made me fill out a form to get approved by supervisior. I called the supervisor the following day and its been 4 days and still NO ANSWER! Not to mention I drove an hour there, wasted $11 and the place was over crowded with no parking!!!!! This is by far the worst service/experience ever and I will NOT support...
