Camping Lot C — Hotel in Santa Clarita

Lots are small. If you have more than two vehicle you'll crowd your camping spot. There are no trees around the spots so you'll get full blast of the sun without canopies or umbrellas to take the heat first before your tent does. On the plus side they do have trash cans and fire pits and the water is just down the side. Albeit a steep hill to try and walk down. 1st time here. Spots are small. Ground is hard and rocky. If you need to drive in stakes, have a hammer and metal stakes...good luck. Recommend taking a Broom or rake to prep the floor. C17 was beautiful once the weather cooled off (102°). There isn't any shade, however, it's at the end of the site, which cuts down on the noise and dust from cars driving in/out.
