Bottle Jack Winery — Attraction in Santa Cruz

Family-run winery specializing in local and unique wines. A couple of their wines have even received 100 pts at the California State Fair! Initially they only had a few red wines but over the past couple years have expanded to include whites and a port. The winery is open Fridays and Saturdays for tastings (Reserve space on their website). I love the Firenze super Tuscan blend, the Zinfandel and the Viogner.

They also have a second tasting room on the Westside open...

Lovely location with beautiful views. You can bring your own snacks. The wine available are great. The hostess was good. The flights we all enjoyed. On this January day we sat outside and enjoyed the sun, did not need the umbrella. You can get club membership as well. We saw some humming birds darting through the flowers, and caught a couple deer on the drive to the parking....
