Read moreThis is the beach to come to when you want to see a beach in its natural setting with mounds of sand and dune grass untouched this is also a sea turtle rescue so when you’re in the water more than likely you will see small to large sea turtles. A lot of the beach has no development on them because at one time it belonged to Elgin Air Force Base I don’t know how it belongs to the state but the area that is not developed has several pavilions newly built on the bay side & ocean front and the ocean side has 2 wheelchair entrances that are very nice & very well kept. There’s a beautiful dock to fish from so you can pay & they provide you with fishing poles bait & all you need. This beach reminds me of Cozumel except no volcanic rock walls. It’s also got man maid coral reef if you like snorkeling. We will be returning soon because the short trip from Nashville Tennessee. All of the locals are very nice and friendly. We also found a lil guy that sells boiled peanuts on the weekend. The town in Navarre is quant & it’s like taking a step in the past, there were maybe 2 times we had to deal with traffic and that was due to the local school traffic. There’s everything to gain from going...

The water is clear, and there are normally no jellyfish sound side... but just like the surf side, always beware of the wildlife... sharks and stingrays are plentiful, and while they don't normally cause any problems, this is their home!
Either side you go to, there are picnic pavilions and bathrooms near the beach, there is plenty of free parking, and it is easy access for those with...
