Skidmore Park — Attraction in Saraland

This is not a city park most of the kids playing and cheering are from all over Mobile which puts local kids not getting play time. The cheerleading coach needs to resign she is hardly ever on time and when she is they spend at least 15-20 minutes talking or she leaves and goes to the field house and leaves her teenage daughter to teach the other coaches and cheerleaders. If you are going to volunteer to coach you should know the cheers and at least participate I have witnessed the other coaches just stand and not teach also. Something needs to be done this park could be so much better. It is also not a daycare the cheer coach allows some parents to bring young kids and leave them and has the cheerleaders watching them while the parents go watch the football players. Really wish all parks has handicap golf carts especially when a person is in a boot, the distance is sometimes unbearable and once you finally get to your destination you are wore out, overall the park is not bad at all.
