Very elegantly built mosque which reflects Islamic architecture. The Jumma prayer was on time with a very impressive khutba from Imam. May Allah bless this masjid and all the brothers and sisters who are maintaining it.

This Masjid is always clean. I truly enjoy stopping by whenever I pass through Sarasota.

The Islamic studies school near Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch is more than just a place of learning—it's a welcoming community that nurtures students academically, spiritually, and emotionally. What makes this school truly stand out is the kindness and warmth of its environment. The teachers and staff are known for being supportive, patient, and respectful. They genuinely care about their students’ well-being and growth, both in faith and education.

One of the best things about this school is the way it combines strong academics with Islamic values. Students not only learn math, science, and language arts, but also study the Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic history. This helps them build a strong moral foundation, stay connected to their faith, and understand their identity in a positive, encouraging setting.

The school also encourages good character, respect for others, and community involvement. Students are taught to be honest, responsible, and compassionate. It's a place where kindness is part of everyday life, and where students feel safe and accepted. Families appreciate how the school creates a sense of unity, with frequent events, prayer gatherings, and opportunities for parents to be involved.

In short, this Islamic studies school near Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch is an excellent choice for any family looking for a school that is not only academically strong but also kind, faith-based, and community-focused! i recommend bringing ur...

I started taking my four little kids (6 and under) to the masjid every jummah to develop their Islamic identity and love for Islam. They're usually well behaved throughout the khutba, and then I take them to the kids room when it's time for prayer just so it's easier to watch them. I had an encounter today with a woman (who claims to be well known there) who yelled at and scolded all the mothers in a very disrespectful manner at the end of Salah. The kids prayer room was closed so all the children were on the adults side and she was furious about the kids being rowdy (mind you these are babies, toddlers and preschoolers). She went on a loud angry rant and then turned around to pray before anyone could get a word in. Even after we explained that the kids room was locked she suggested that we "figure it out" which sounded very much like "leave". Very unwelcoming towards both mothers (who were doing their best) and children, and we wonder why there is so much division in the community. Where are the teachings of Islam regarding little children? This community has become so self-righteous, and they seem to have completely forgotten how the Prophet SAW treated the children. It's very disheartening. I hope your...

I am very upset to read such negative posts about the existence of this masjid in Sarasota. Personally, I was born in Florida, I am white, and I am a muslim. How does that make me a hater of America, or a bad or dangerous person? Islam is a peaceful religion preaching submission to the will of Allah, and how to live a more simple life. Extremism is a product of radicals skewing their teachings to support their agendas. The uneducated listen to what their government and leaders have to say, so they're influenced to hate Americans. I wonder where else that happens where the general populace are ignorant enough to only believe what they see on TV? Oh, like people in America! We're influenced by media to hate the muslim world, and its disgusting that people will use it to generalize all people of that faith. I am so happy that the people of the islamic faith here in Sarasota were courageous enough to build a house of prayer regardless of other people's opinions or baseless "fear." Why should they not be allowed to exercise their first amendment rights? If most people in this part of the country can so fervently defend the second amendment, why should the first amendment be any...
