This restaurant is very cute, the decor and the details for the ambiance have really been thought out. However, that is where the attention to detail ends. We arrived and had to wait nearly an hour for our appetizers. During this time our drinks ran low and we had to flag down our waitress for a refill or other drink. There were two people in our party and we arrived at an off time of 2pm on a Sunday. When our food finally arrived we were very disappointed. My mother, who was with me is Venezuelan, born and raised there and later moved to the US. She was so excited to eat here based on the reviews and the menu. It was such a disappointment. We ordered the yuca fries, Venezuelan sampler, and patacón platter. The yuca fries are clearly frozen store bought that are just flash fried. They are not made in house and are not fresh at all. We didn’t even finish them they were so gross. Same with the patacón platter. Every single one was hard and clearly had been sitting around for a couple days, if not weeks. When I went to bite into one I couldn’t, it literally hurt my jaw. They were also clearly made from frozen something and not made fresh in house. The Venezuelan platter was decent, however, it is clear the táquenos are also from a frozen store bought something. The arepas and empanadas were ok, however the meat did taste old and was extremely salty. Finally the capachas, also store bought and cooked. Nothing about the food is fresh or gourmet. Everything we ordered we could have gotten in the frozen food aisle of Publix and fried ourselves. It is over priced. It was super disappointing, especially being labeled as Venezuelan food. We will not be back and I would highly suggest you take your time and business to a better place like 11 chicks...

This location could be so much better. Nice decor, modern but authentic. But... We came for the second time to give them a second chance. Last time we came here @ 9:00am, They were just opening and said that the Expresso machine wasn't ready so we had to wait 25 minutes to get our coffees. While we were waiting they started to mop the floor under our feet...🙄 So, now a few months later, we have decided to give them a second chance ( last time the coffees were delicious) Upon arrival no one greeted us. We sat at a table ,the waitress came 10 minutes later with the menus. We could see on the TV screen some pictures with omelettes and other items not mentioned on the menu. Still 10 minutes later the waitress came back and we asked her about those she said we have to scan the QR code to see the breakfast menu which was "suspended" when we tried. We eventually got her ipad to look at the menu. While our coffees ( latte and such) finally made it to the table we got them lukewarm ,it already took for ever for the barista to make them... We had to go to the counter to order while the barista and wait staff were to busy talking. I ordered a " wet" omelette with arepas who arrived burned, and the arepas was so hard and cold inside. I didn't eat anything but they still manage to leave it all on the check... I know lots of restaurants have a staff shortage and i feel for them when customers get impatient or rude, but it wasn't the issue here as they were not busy at all. I am all about to help and promote small local businesses and am so sorry they can't get this one to run properly but will never go back and of course will...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Paramo Café & Restaurant, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This hidden gem not only delivers amazing cuisine but also provides exceptional service that goes above and beyond.
One of the highlights of my visit was the reincarnation of typical dishes from Venezuela in the heart of the US. Paramo Café & Restaurant truly captures the essence and flavors of Venezuelan cuisine, bringing them to life in a way that is both authentic and innovative. From the first bite, I was transported back to the streets of Caracas, savoring every mouthwatering bite. The arepas, in particular, were a revelation - perfectly crispy on the outside, with a warm and flavorful filling that left me craving more.
But it wasn't just the just food that impressed me. The service was truly exceptional. Alí and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had a memorable dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions we had. It was clear that they took pride in their work and genuinely cared about the satisfaction of their customers.
The ambiance of Paramo Café & Restaurant was also worth mentioning. The decor was tasteful and inviting, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or loved ones. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the beautiful table settings to the carefully curated playlist that added to the...
