Lotus Nails Spa — Attraction in Saugus

I initially gave them a 5 stars. As usual with the Asian nail shops, the first time is okay and after that- the service goes downhill. The last 3 times I have gone, they refuse to do designs. And if they agree to designs, they tell me to “keep it simple”. I never get acrylics or anything fancy. So I don’t understand the lazy service. I’m here for a simple gel manicure with a simple design. And they still made me feel it was too much work for them. I feel rushed the entire time. One lady was so rough with my hands, I got up and walked out. How many times have I asked her to please stop yanking and pulling aggressively on my hands? I am not your child. What really made me not want to return is the day I sat down and BEFORE the nail tech started working on my hands- I told her: “one of my nails is shorter than all the others. I need a tip on that one to match the length of the rest of my hands.” She said “okay okay” as if she understood. She did my nails and didn’t add the tip. She left my nail shorter than the rest of my hands. It looked bad and uneven. I reminded her again: I need a tip for this nail. She says to me: WHY DONT YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE I START YOUR NAILS with an attitude. I DID TELL YOU! Anytime I tried to give you instructions, you would cut me off and not let me finish - “okay okay okay”. I have decided that this year I am not giving my hard earned money anymore to bad nail techs. I don’t know what happened to nail shops but they are all turning lazy , rude , rushed. Everyone is saying the same. We are all tired of paying for services for nail techs to be rude and lazy...

I like this place however some lady’s don’t know what they do they don’t even clean my nails they don’t take the time to verify your hands I make an appointment with viví she is the best but she is in vacation and another lady with glasses made my I told her I want them more short and she didn’t care when i said more short very disappointed they have to find more people like viví because this lady leave the nails very wide I was looking for a natural set I hope they find more professional people

…Update I have to fix it myself that’s the length that I request now I’m happy but for my own...

Went here to get a fill for the poly gel I got at Lavanda. (Never going back to Lavanda) Omg, this place is wonderful! I'm bad with names, but I got yhe husband of the couple who own the place. He and his family are so nice and warm hearted and fun. The atmosphere here is friendly, welcoming and relaxed. The work they do is excellent! And we'll priced. And my friend who came on a whim got a simple nail art on the fly too. Both of us were over the moon about our nails and looking forward to going back.
