Update 2022: Came to visit this summer, and was sad to see that they transitioned to a card-based payment/ticket system. No more paper tickets or quarter machines. All games except the coin pushers and slot machines require the card. Don’t even have quarter machines anymore, you now have to ask for them from behind the counter. Really takes the fun out of the whole experience.

The staff here also appeared to be entirely new and weren’t all that friendly, at least the night we went. When I complained that a certain game took 5 credits ($1.25) from my card without letting me play, the guy seemed bothered, rolling his eyes to his coworker as he came from behind the counter. He checked the card activity log and said that it “still gave me points”. I checked the activity log myself and saw it gave me 20 points per “play”, equivalent to 4 paper tickets. Wow. I then asked if I could have the rest of my credits (about $1 worth) in quarters to play some of their games that still require them, and he said they can’t to that. Completely ridiculous considering it’s my money in the first place, and I was going to spend it there anyway. If this is truly the case (and not just made up by the worker to avoid doing his job), people should be notified prior to purchasing a card that there is no way to transfer your balance back to cash. Unless there is a sign or something that I missed, I think that making customers use this system without fully informing them of the terms and conditions is borderline unethical. They also don’t appear to be doing the Friday and Saturday night points drawings anymore, as there was no one handing out raffle tickets. Truly a disappointment since these were really fun and unique events.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this most recent visit. I suspect that I’m not the only one feeling this way because the night I was in there (as well as every night I went past walking the promenade), it was almost completely dead. Truly shocking considering it used to be packed every single night at this time last year. While nothing can really replace the quarters and tickets, I’m hoping they can at least work the kinks out of the card system. I left my original review below just to show that I have in fact been coming here for a long time and that I used to hold this place in high regard.

Original Review: We love going to this place every summer. Wide variety of games and attentive staff. The points system is a little different here; each ticket is worth five points, and upon counting, you will be issued cards with points values on them (ex 100 tickets=500 points, you get a card worth 500 points). The “prices” for prizes are pretty fair, and there is some really good stuff if you save up (iPads, signed sports memrobilia, high end jewelry, etc).

However, I do have to agree with other reviewers that in the evenings during peak season, it is positively PACKED with kids families. Standing room only in places, no joke. It’s almost not enjoyable. And yes, during these times, the staff is very overwhelmed, and will likely not be available for all your inquiries right away. Additionally, while some of the kids may act rude, snarky, and completely out of line for a public place, it is not the arcades fault, nor their problem to deal with. That being said, the best time to go is in the middle of the day, when everyone else is on the beach. It’s barely busy at all, and you can get a much more quiet and...

I went here just to spend my left over money and have fun for an hour but the customer service was so bad, I asked simple questions like where can I get change? They completely ignored it and I had to figure it out myself. After I played some games, all of them were scams and you won’t earn any tickets. Also it was full of annoying, rude, and screaming kids that no one was controlling. Overall this place was awful and made me feel uncomfortable...

Love this arcade ! Great diversity of games for every age. The card system allows for easy gaming, I would never expect to receive cash back after putting money on the card, I have never witnessed any establishment offer that option . This would be directed at Brandon P, your review is ridiculous and comical, thanks for the laugh! I think you should enjoy life and stop writing such petty reviews ……. It’s an arcade bro ………not a federal...
