The sunset! And then the stars! We got there at 9PM right as the sun was setting and it was wonderful, about 2-3 hours later you could begin to see some star constellations. I’m not an avid astrologist but I managed to make out Ursa Major, (Big Dipper) and what I believe to be Ursa Minor, (Little Dipper).

Yes, it is in fact a public beach despite what the bitter neighbors would like you to believe. It’s listed and plotted right on the city’s ‘Shoreline Street Ends Map’. Enjoy.

If you don't expect much, you'll be blown away. This street end view spot has one bench behind a seawall, a strip of gravel that appears to be parking, and private beaches on either side. Great for taking in a sunset and listening...
