Seward park is a lovely 2 to 2.5 mile walk around the park next to the water. There are a few trails you can explore. Lots of nature to see if you go up over the hill. You can hear many birds and even hear and see the family of eagles. You may come across turtles, rabbits, many small wildlife and possibly an owl. l have been going to this park for 20 plus years and my babies who are now in college have explored and went on walks with me to this day. It's one of...

One of my favorite places!! Newly renovated bottom-level playground is a huge bonus! We've taken our bikes out around the paved trail and had a blast! We've never trekked through the old-growth trails on the upper level; hoping to do that soon. Great spot for wading, swimming, boat launch. I've seen a floating swim/jump dock off the swim area, although we've never seen it in use. Wonderful views of Mt Rainier and the...

This is a beautiful park in a very pretty area of Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington. There is a playground designed for kids from one and a half to 10 or 12 with lots of Inventive toys to play on, including a zip line and an old-fashioned, seldom seen, merry-go-round. For older folks there are some beautiful walking/jogging paths through wooded shoreline. The views of Lake Washington are...

Beautiful, on the water with Mt Rainier visible in the distance. Awesome fort/playhouse with climbing and slides, there's a merry go round and short Zipline for kids. Plenty of shade and grass, short walk to a bus station with a short ride to light rail. We're from out of town and was told this is probably Seattle's best park.

Love this park. Great for walks with the family. My 4 and 8 yr old girls enjoy riding scooters or bikes on the trail, occassionally venturing down to the water line to throw rocks or tease the ducks. I enjoy the bird watching and the lush forest so close to the city.
