First of all, I want to start this review by stating that I did not get to attend this tour because I was late (which I will admit) but I am still giving one star due to the rude staff member who worked at the starting location of this tour. On Saturday, the 21st, four of us were scheduled to go and do this tour and we were extremely excited. After dealing with the atrocious Seattle traffic and terrible parking situations down by the pier I was already very frustrated. Our party arrived at the Ye Olde Curiosity Shop at 7:04 for our 7:00 pm tour and asked the worker where the tour meets to which the rude worker just replied under their breath, "they left" and returned to work.I explained that I understood we were late but were hoping we could catch up with them. I asked that same worker where the tour meets and they said, "In a big group outside" and continued to work. While we were on the pier in Seattle this information was not helpful. Trying to salvage the night, we went outside and tried to walk around and look for a "big group of people" on the crowded Seattle pier on a Saturday night. After a few minutes I went back inside he shop frustrated and asked the worker if they could find someone that was actually helpful that could answer some questions. With some reluctancy this person called their accommodating manager who explained that the tour heads to the right and described exactly what the tour guide was wearing. Ultimately we were unable to catch up with our tour guide because of how much time was wasted with this worker who was unwilling to help us at all. Again I understand we were late, but stuff happens. This place needs to hire people who have customer...
Read moreThe Ye Olde Curiosity Shop is stunning.
This examination is long due paying little character to I on an incredibly key estimation need to see Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.
Visited Ye Olde Curiosity Shop last Christmas to buy presents for my family. As we in general in everything considered in everything considered in with everything pondered know, Christmas is open giving. Its better than anything standard to know there are one stop present shops around the zone so its less issue to look and buy for presents.
I was tied down how much gift considerations there are inside the shop. From toys to reinforces, there are packs to look at. Since I need to buy something for most by a wide edge of the relatives, I need to check for gifts sensible for each age. Head thing all of them are here.
The place is paying little respect to gets. You will have a mammoth area of fun just by walking around the shop. Packs to get a couple of information about. The place is overwhelming and clean. Extraordinarily, even the alliance is astonishing even there were a titanic component of customers getting degrees of overhaul. They can even wrap the present for you. Shouldn't something be said about that?
I will return here at Ye Olde Curiosity Shop to buy presents for a...
Read moreI always loved coming here as a kid but recently I went in and found a cute lighter and thought to buy it (40$ lighter btw) I normally wouldn't spend that amount of money on something like that but I wanted something nice for myself the first lighter I chose did not work then they proceeded to try and fill 4 or 5 other lighters (THEY ALL WERE NOT WORKING) as I've been standing there for 30 mins almost 40 and my ride was waiting on me they issue me a refund BUT THEN all the sudden one starts “WORKING” now this may have been dumb on my part but like I said I wanted something nice for myself they asked if I wanted to repurchase the lighter I said yes because I was sad I wasn't expecting a discount but it wouldve been nice of them too considering me and my pregnant friend were standing there for almost 45 mins (WITH OUR HANDS FULL OF THINGS FROM PIKE PLACE) And now, guess what? Days later, the lighter is not working again. On top of it all, they had what seemed to be a child working behind the counter handling the butane. Moral of the story: Not great customer service, and they didn't seem concerned about taking $85$ out of my account. (PLUS AN ADDITIONAL 5$ for butane fills that...
