We came across this trail as something easy. It's relatively flat and is shared with mountain bikers, although e-bikes aren't permitted. The riders we saw were all friendly and going slowly.

It's suitable for running stroller but a travel stroller will struggle due to sections of rough rocks.

Based on our experience, everyone's first hike in Sedona ought to be the Bell Rock Trail. It is a short hike, but many will take the spur up Bell Rock for a higher vantage point. Or continue on the Courthouse Rock Loop Trail and circumnavigate Courthouse Rock, returning to where they started. There's no better way to appreciate you're in the midst of the Red Rocks of Sedona.
