Red Rock State Park Parking Area — Attraction in Sedona

The weather was atrocious (freezing rain, hail and snow) but it only made Sedona's red rocks appear brighter. One of the photos is the view from Creekside Coffee - which I first chose because there were long distance cyclists standing in the snow outside it and, as a former long distance racing cyclist, I automatically trust they stop where the strongest best...

There is a white trailer parked right by the restrooms. It is owned by the park ranger. Lots of hummingbird feeders and this is actually the best place to watch 10-20 hummingbirds at a time. Even better than the visitor...

This is the way to see the famous red rocks! Easy well-marked hikes with nonstop views of the rocks (and plenty of shade). Also a fun way to experience the high desert landscape. Only complaint is that the park is a...
