Read moreI would have love to given 5 stars but because of this miserable lady at the counter not only was she rude but truly does not need a job where you work with the public! July 27th 2018 my friend and I left work early so we could do the moon light hike which we had planned since last month. We were coming from Phoenix and the drive should have only taken at the most 1 1/2 hours, but instead took 3 hours due to a deadly crash. We raced through pouring rain and lots of lightning determined to make this hike that we had been looking forward to! We arrived to the place at 6:30pm the hike started at 6:15pm. We asked a young gentleman that worked there if we could still do the hike and catch up to one of the groups and he said let me check. Since we were stuck in traffic for 3 hours we quickly went to the bathroom and upon coming out of the bathroom, this very heavy set lady with a look on her face like she just smelled poop, was telling the young gentleman that this was not an extended stay hike and we could not join the group! We were however allowed to go on our own so we paid the $14 and did a couple of the trails and ended up catching up with the group and the 2 gentleman guides were extremely nice! It was a very simple hike...
Read moreDo not bother paying the outrageous prices to book the venue there. Was just there over the weekend for a wedding and one of the older female forest rangers would not leave us alone about the volume of the crowd. Witch it was a very small wedding on sunday morning. She said and i quote "people come here to listen to nature not your wedding". She was extreanly rude and very disrespectful. To top it off the failed to let us know that there was a wedding the morning we were suppose to do rehearsal for ours. So we were not able to rehearse. She told us she was going to have us kicked out and when i tell you this was a quite wedding, i promise you voices were not much above average talking volume. She told us no music louder then a phone can play and to stop using the mic system all together. The bride and groom were extreamly disappointed and stressed then entire day over it. She basically ruined the entire mood of the wedding and i could understand being a state park but with what they had to pay to rent it, they should not be able to dictate what they did and how they did it. Please beware DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM YOU WILL BE EXTREAMLY...
