Young City Park and Splashpad — Attraction in Shallowater

This little place is pretty neat. They charge $3 to get into the pad. It is a concrete pad so I highly suggest you wear some kind of water shoes. It has several water features, the water rotates to different parts of the splash pad. There is also a park adjacent to the splash pad. The park also has a walking trail surrounding it. Splash pad and park was great fun for the kids. Concession stand on the other hand, was ran by kids that seemed judgemental and very unfriendly. My kids were told all the flavors of snow cones were out. The splash pad should be free. Staff was rude and snobby. The splash pad is very small only has one water feature running water instead of the whole thing going all at once.
