Lake Massapoag — Attraction in Sharon

I love this lake but there's no free parking anymore. They made all the public parking lots PAID now (2 years ago it wasn't like this).

So there's no way to enjoy public land/lake without paying for a day pass or a permit.

But they did get a bunch new toys for theselves like a nice lawnmower and sand leveling car. It seems like the town voted to keep outsiders out of their lake and spend the money on new toys for themselves instead of sharing this public land/lake with others.

There are a lot of ducks in the morning and it's not so crowded in the morning.Thay have fake coyotes to scare off some creatures.Thay look a little real but it's really nice that have a snack stand that has chips and funions and ice cream 🍦 to cool your self off with.Only in the summer you can come to Massapog Lake if you are a sharon resident but in the spring or fall or winter you can come from anywere that have smooth sand and pretty clear water I bet everyone I know that went there had a blast and I...

Unfortunately, this is not a dog friendly beach. Dogs are forbidden to swim in the lake at all times. They are not allowed on the Town beaches from April to October. This should not come upon a dog friendly...
