I absolutely hated this place when my parents dropped my brother and I off when I was around the age of eight or nine to stay for 2 weeks without any heads up notice. But the next year we went I was older got to hang out with the older kids and absolutely loved it.

Do not Recommend: 1.Staff can not meet the mental health needs of a camper that was a victim of bullying . This includes being SPIT on & physically / verbally bullied ! 2.Will blame the victim for their “big emotional” response to bullying. 3.Will allow the victim to be bullied multiple times and then act as if they were not aware of the bullying even though calls were made home regarding bullying 4.*Camp Director will tell parents of bullied children that “ your child need to speak up and tell someone if they are being bullied “ Even though we all know bullying victims very rarely disclose. It’s not the bullied child’s fault it’s the lack of response and effective intervention of staff members. Will allow children to instigate fighting, bullying and SPITTING on other children but will send a camper home for big emotions and curse words 🫡 Took the children’s reusable water bottles. Wishy washy on letting you speak to your own child while they are there and a situation is occurring. Will threaten to call the police on an...

My parents first sent me to Camp Wonderland when I was around age 7. I am now a month away from being 17 years old and have went back to camp every year besides 2020 (due to the coronavirus and quarantining). Over those years I made some of the best memories and developed so many relationships with not just fellow campers but with the staff as well. Not only does your child get an opportunity to connect with God, but they’ll engage in fun activities everyday including swimming, sports, arts and crafts, archery, boat rides, camp outs, etc. Having a chance to disconnect from the internet (as no electronics are allowed at camp) was refreshing, as I found myself enjoying nature and the presence of those around me throughout every session. I could go on and on, but I’ll happily say that Camp Wonderland is the highlight of my childhood and I couldn’t be more appreciative of how it impacted...

my child first time at camp wonderland Sharon ma My child had the worse time at camp wonderland 2022; my child was punch x2 in the stomach and kick and split on by my child peers. my child ask camp wonderful staff can I call my mom. my child was deny on several occasion; too the point my child started to act up in order for me to get call to camp wonderland.

As for the counselors never reported to the proper staff to handle the situation on what was going on. as if my child was making up a story. the type of experience that my child face was extreme awful and traumatic. my child said I never want to go to camp again. I WILL NEVER SEND MY CHILD OR FUTURE CHILDREN IN THE HAND OF CAMP WONDERFUL AGAIN. FIND...
