Marias Museum of History & Art — Attraction in Shelby

What an awesome tribute to the county and region. So many beautifully displayed personal artifacts, labeled pictures, original newspaper articles clothing of all types and sizes on mannequins, household and farming equipment,medical, barber, general store, veteran, dinosaurs bones, furniture and many many more. All this kept in pristine condition and displayed in a home setting to make it so personable. Also at the second site just down the block the giant saw clock, carriages, old school room and so much more. Shelby was a stop on a family trip this June and we were so pleasantly surprised with the museum! First, we were greeted by the most wonderful, charming, sweet and knowledgeable Lady who graciously welcomed us and turned on all the lights,. Not only did we see the house which one under estimates initially, she also showed us the second location right down the street. 100% a must see! A wonderful blast from the past History lesson that is enjoyable for all ages. The amount of history pieces will just blow your mind!...
