Bright's Ace Hardware Sherman — Attraction in Sherman

Finally another big new store in the cute and vintage Westwood Village Shopping Center on Sunset Blvd. (Was hoping for a Trader Joe's to fill that retail space..) but ACE will be a handy store for this area of Sherman without having to drive far north in crazy traffic to Home Depot or Lowes. Clean, tidy store and friendly staff (it kind of makes you feel like you are back in a 1950's era hardware store when there were helpful clean cut staff roaming the aisles ready to assist.) Hope more stores will continue to fill the Westwood Village soon; i.e. an antique store with a ladies lunch tea room inside...

I needed ant killer, round-up, and some gloves and I popped into here instead of driving to Lowe’s. Not only was I in and out in less than 5 minutes but a smiling face greeted me at the door and literally showed me to every item on my list. I will definitely be back next time I need something...

Absolutely love how friendly and helpful the staff are and their willingness to go above and beyond to help. Always a pleasure to go in for what I need and their Dublin soda they carry is off the charts good. Nice to have a local store that doesn't give you the big brand...
