Nemarniki Vineyard & Winery — Attraction in Sherwood

Add this to your list of must-see wineries! Although it is smaller and more humble than many of the surrounding vineyards, Nemarniki has something you can't get at those other places... Diane! She is the owner, the winemaker, the hostess, and the server. My mother and I had a WONDERFUL experience at Nemarniki with Diane who is kind, experienced, passionate, thoughtful, inviting, and very knowledgeable (without being pretentious) ... and makes terrific wines! This is a must stop. We closed our wine trip experience visiting this winery. Diane made us feel so welcomed. She shared how she started this vineyard and some of her history. We called the same day and she accomodated to welcoming us. Wonderful ambience , she greated us to a table of great cheese and also prepared for us some delightful bits. I loved the Pinot 2015, it was one of the best Pinot's I tasted during my trip. This was an experience I will never forget. We moved to Oregon a couple of years ago. We've been to half a dozen wineries so far. They've all been enjoyable experiences, but Nemarniki Vineyard is in a class all on it's own. It was an amazing visit. Diane was a charming host. Aside from sharing expert knowledge about the wine we were drinking, she shared stories of growing up in Tigard and how it used to be covered in farms. She is a wonderful story teller. The wine was amazing. The view from her property is spectacular. The space is small and intimate. You can't go wrong here. We are looking forward to future return visits...
