Well, I decided to take the pup out for a walk around the pond at 4:15 or so. It is a little windy, and providing the fall of leaves, we were pretty much the only people there, all but a senior lady out doing her walk, and a young boy bringing his fishing pole. There was very few geese/ducks. Upon letting my pup start to smell the area, I noticed a rippling in the water, and it was not a duck. A small otter showed up. Of course by the time I was able to get my smart phone out, he was gone. As I wandered up to the edge of the pond, I took note of how clear the water looked and not so much with the green moss. My pup did see two squirrels, of which she wanted to chase. It felt strange not seeing any children out, using the playground. ...
Read moreWe travel everywhere and this is the BEST playground I've ever visited! So much for kids to do! And very inclusive...handicap accessible, shade structures, big trees for shade. They have plenty of slides, a sound garden, equipment that invites imaginative play, bathrooms and picnic tables close by. I can't say enough good things about this newly updated playground! Read moreWe were in Sidney for the afternoon with our two youngest grandchildren and had some time to kill. They wanted to go to the park. What a wonderful surprise this was. They played on the playground equipment for almost 2 full hours. We had to pull them off to go to dinner because we had a 45 minute drive after dinner and wanted to be home before dark.. We most definitely will be going back there again. Sidney, you did this park and playground right. Great job by everyone...
