Public Beach Access — Attraction in Siesta Key

Perfect tiny spot away from crowds. Somewhat family friendly (random guys trying to fish by edge and some boats pass a little close for my comfort), No parking fee, beach only maybe 30' wide but there is a tree that provides some shade. A manatee actually swam by feet away from swimmers--and an Egret came to hang out for a bit too!

I should say that this is a terrible place to keep people from going but it is truly one of the sweetest spots on the planet!! Just keep your eye out when you're in the water for sea urchins, they cover themselves with shells and the water is beautifully crystal clear so if you see a little bundle of little shells you'll know it's a pointy...

I love this beach access. Unfortunately, the family that owns the fenced-in residence here has tried falsely excluding people from publicly accessible places. They hired this man to serve as a watch dog, and yell at the elderly and children in public spaces.

Someone should probably do...
