Worst camp host ever. Very judgemental of campers "that can't afford an rv" . Circled my vehicle in a golf cart while I dozed off. Came back around and I caught him. Asked what the problem was and he said I did not have a reservation. Told me campers other than rv are pot smokers and beer drinking trouble makers. Told me he sees garbage bags in my windows fir covers. No. I bought weathertech over 200.00 I told him and 2 windows had window net cover over them. A cranky old man that thinks he is above everyone. I made him help me fix my reservation since he told me I had to or I had to leave and he would call police. I made him be nice to me. Then he left me alone. But I did not sleep thinking about everything he had said about people. The park was nice. I did not get to the falls since the harassment of the host left a bad impression. I complained at desk. I did pay. Their signs are not clear on what you get with different payment sites. One there for parking and online fir camping. If you pay camping parking, entry to park cost, is included. Sign made me think entry cost was required before making reservation. Anyway..they need a new camp host representing Oklahoma state. Not one that brags he has a gazebo with his rv set up. And he also said only rvs should be in parks...tent camping only for back country hiking. All bad attitude for being a host. Worst...

So I haven’t been passed the parking lot but it’s without a doubt the worst park I’ve been to. I’ll admit, I didn’t handle the situation like a mature adult, however, the staff could have offered more solutions. I travel with someone who is on oxygen and cannot walk long distances. We love going to state parks and driving around and usually donating to their upkeep. So I go in and explain the situation and they inform me that it’s 20-30 yards walking to see anything. Ok fine. My companion isn’t up for it, but wait, there’s 6 golf carts not in use with a “rent me” sign on them. Score! So I go back in, cash for in hand, but no, they’re only for campers. So 6 unused carts in the off season making zero dollars is better than letting me rent one for an hour? How about rent the cart and charge me for the cheapest camping spot. I would have gladly paid to go enjoy the scenery. This was unfortunately my breaking point and I resorted to cursing the staff and a few bystanders. I finally get the sorry not sorry saying. Without a doubt the dumbest interaction I’ve had with...

I've visited the park twice. The first time was a day trip and hiking. This time my husband and I rented a yurt for three nights. Notes on the yurt: We appreciated the accessibility of the trails near the yurts in addition to heat/air, mini fridge, microwave, single k-cup coffee maker (2 pods included), two outdoor Adirondack chairs, firepit, picnic table and adjacent porta potty. Park notes: We absolutely plan to stay again and hope to rent multiple yurts to accommodate our family. One thing worth noting is the proximity of a race track that easily went to midnight. It wouldn't keep us from coming back but for light sleepers, earplugs might be needed on race nights.

Staying overnight allowed us to hike trails once day trippers left and to do a night time "moon" hike. We saw all kinds of nature including lightning bugs, squirrels, cardinals, deer, rabbit and enjoyed beautiful nightskies for star gazing. The grounds are well kept and we enjoyed our relaxing, nature-infused...

Absolutely beautiful state park! Natural falls state park is the PERFECT beginners park if you have no experience or a beginner. The trials are small and easily hiked in a day, and the main trail is beautiful! Signs dot the area explaining the Oklahoma wildlife and plants! There’s multiple locations to see areas where the water comes from the rocks and one large area that is stunning! For a small fee of $10 this State park is a MUST GO if you’re driving by and have the time, the main building staff was so nice and helpful with us and she marked out her favorite way to walk the trials which helped us plan it ourselves! The only downside was seeing small bits of trash here and there. We picked up what we could but always try and remember to remove a small amount so we can all enjoy and learn about these places

The top of the falls is easily accessible for anyone. It’s a short 200 yd walk from the parking lot. Handicap accessible parking right at the trail entrance. There is a brand new viewing platform at the bottom to help protect the falls area. Further along the trail there are a couple stream crossings, picnic area and a dam. Pretty hike and well maintained. Parking is $10, that’s why I’m giving 3 instead of 4 stars. Seems like the state park could do away with that for day users. There are a few small play grounds, disc golf, sand volleyball, and a large camping area for campers and tents.

We were very impressed with the campgrounds. They were well spaced and had good amenities. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were adequate enough. The hike to the falls was short and beautiful. We loved exploring the area, but the fox den trail was chock full of ticks, so we only made it about 50 yards down the trail, before running back to camp. The firewood we purchased from the park was very wet and difficult to start a fire with. There was a regular patrol and we appreciated the feeling of security
