I had my wedding here at the end of March, 2024 and although nothing could ruin my day, the woman working the desk at Natural Falls sure tried to. Let's start with the fact that we rented the reunion center, all of the yurts, and several RV and campsites. The park was really nice and accommodating UNTIL we booked. Then we couldn't get any information or help from them whatsoever. We were NEVER told that vehicles were not allowed in the yurt area so five families, some with young children were very surprised to find out that we had to cart ALL of our belongings and wedding supplies to the yurts on golf carts from the parking lot. Let's also mention here that the golf carts BARELY worked and could barely get up the main hill with only one person and no luggage aboard, not to mention how difficult it was with two people and luggage. There are NO bathrooms at the yurts aside from Port o potties with NO LIGHTS making it impossible to use the restroom at night. Furthermore, the only restrooms with plumbing were far away, however we were notified upon arrival that golf carts were not allowed to be used after dark. Therefore it was impossible to use the restroom at night because the only toilets near the yurts didn't have lights and the main bathrooms were inaccessible after dark due to the fact we could not get to them. To make matters worse when we booked the reunion center and when we picked up the keys we were not notified of any cleaning requirements for the reunion center. We did, however clean up the place VERY nicely, only to have the grumpy old lady at the front desk specifically call me into the office the next day to tell me what a MESS we made. She acted like it was life and death. I asked her to show me, as she said she was taking our deposit (I wouldn't be surprised if she pocketed it and embezzled from the park because it was NOT messy). The woman was practically in tears and a complete rage over a COUPLE crumbs on the floor. No joke she said we didn't sweep (we did TWICE actually) and she said the counters were sticky (they weren't, I personally wiped the counters). She also said that "the outside trash cans were too full". However, NEITHER one of them were even overflowing and, like I said, there was NO MENTION OF THESE REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BOOKING OR DURING CHECKIN. The lady acted like we traumatized her and the place was left in tip top condition. Let's also mention that they were very nice before we booked but once we did they were absolutely no help. My sister and I came up the week before the wedding to check everything out (and we notified the park of this ahead of time and they said we were welcome) however when we arrived they were NO HELP. And they had the nerve to tell us we could walk to the yurts to check them out but that they were "too busy" to take us up there and let us in to look at them. They told us to walk up there ourselves and that NO ONE was staying in any of the yurts and even though they were locked and refused to open them that "we could look inside through the windows because no one was in them". So we make the long treck without a car up to the yurts and look in the window and LO AND BEHOLD..... THERE WERE PEOPLE IN THEM. It was incredibly awkward and could have been prevented if the desk staff had any clue what she was doing. Lucky for me I still had fun at my wedding, no thanks to the completely rude and grumpy old lady working the desk. Rest assured, I am fighting that charge for the cleaning of the event center with my bank. I have photos. I cannot even believe the way this lady acted, it was embarrassing for her. It was only 50 bucks and no skin off me, but the fact that we left that place spotless and the trash cans (which btw were PUBLIC and the entire park was using them for all we know people could have put trash in after we left) were CERTAINLY not overflowing. Also, just the absolute rudeness of the "lady" was absurd. We were so quiet, had so few people, and were respectful and clean. This lady just wanted to ruin someone's day because she is angry...

We recently got back from a week long stay at this park and were very impressed. The park has a small loop for tent camping and a larger loop with pull through and back in sites for campers/RV's. My guess is that about 10 of the RV sites are full hookup, the rest are water and electric. The sites are a little closer together than we prefer for a state park but there are tons of trees that make most sites really nice. Solid Verizon cell service. We often stop at campground stores and purchase shirts or hats to commemorate our stops along the way, as well as making "our contribution" to the park, but were a little disappointed to find that the park store didn't have many, if any, items exclusive to the park. All items were a generic "Oklahoma" theme. Not a huge deal for us, just used to having park specific items in the campground store.

What made our trip to Natural Falls State Park a memorable one for us was the staff. Simply amazing! About 9 p.m. on the day of our arrival our power pedestal developed a problem in the 50 amp breaker that required us to switch to the 30 amp breaker. The next morning while walking our dogs we stopped a park employee making rounds (before the office opened) to report our electrical problem. Park employees were at our site within 30 minutes and replaced the 50 amp breaker. Super fast response!

About 6:00 p.m. Friday evening, the day before we were scheduled to leave and return home, we wrecked our truck coming back from a mountain bike ride in Siloam Springs, AR. Since we pull a fifth wheel and we live in Texas, this presented a huge challenge for us as the truck was not driveable after the accident. The staff stepped in and really helped us work through some logistical issues while we worked with insurance and transport companies to get our 5th wheel and wrecked truck back to Texas. Since we were scheduled to vacate our site on Saturday morning, the park employees borrowed a truck from the camp host and moved our camper to a different site that we could stay in until Wednesday which was the earliest the transport service could pick up our camper and bring it home. We have camped in state parks for well over 20 years and I can honestly say that the level of service, help and compassion we received from the staff at Natural Falls State Park is unrivaled. A huge "Thank You" to everyone at Natural...

My family traveled here for spring break, rented out the entire yurt area for an intimate fun filled adventure. I had a very mixed experience. Check in was nice and some of the front desk women were friendly, others not at all warm to a multi culture family. We were mainly disappointed with the lack of warning that Friday night during “quiet time” (after 11 pm when we are expected to respect the park with quiet) there was a very loud monster truck rally very close that we could hear each other in conversation from late afternoon until after midnight. Check out was with the not so friendly attendant. They open at 830 we arrived at 827 and she stared at us until 830 which I could understand but then unlocked the door and walked off with an attitude as if it bothered her we were there and then she was surprised we wanted to check out early. She mentioned she thought we’re there because a cart broke down and she was aware as she just got the message so maybe that’s why she wasn’t excited to see us but we were not the ones that left that message. The golf carts were not in good shape. One family got stranded after hours on a bathroom run, luckily we had others to come get them with the children as it was a long trip back in the cold. The wood logs are $1 each so prepare for this expense. I was glad they were available at least. Yurt was clean but our fridge wasn’t regulating temp right and we lost a lot of food/milk made my toddler son sick. I was overall happy with the trip other than those few things. Nice scenery,...
