Great but looked like it needed to still be cleaned up. Lower fall you can get a view of but when you go down to get closer lots of fallen trees. (Lower is huge) BRING water shoes or boots. The upper one would of been great but you have to actually get into the water to see it. Small pool of water maybe like to the knee at most but falls were blocked by trees. Its a nice and easy hike and you get to see a bit volcanic rock too. It's a loop so of you go to the right you see lower and then double back continue on path to see upper double back fallow trail takes you back to parking lot you come out on the left. So if you go left you see upper first. Their are signs to tell you which fall you will see. Still worth checking out and they...

Logistics: parking area fills by midday. If you arrive early or on a weekday it's less busy. Can't get there once the first snowgate closes (there are two and this is between first and second gate). Forest service pass required.
COVID logistics: registration required in advance during part of the year. Very clean port-a-pots...
Read moreNice loop but I highly recommend sturdy shoes for the first 500 meters as it is very rocky. The loop then continues into the woods and there is the first side trail to visit the lower falls. It is a steep descent and you'll have to climb over some trees but the view is worth it I think. After climbing back up to the loop trail you should continue and you'll see the second side trail that leads to the upper falls. This short trail doe not have much elevation changes. After visiting the upper falls, you can then continue to...
