Seven Cedars Farm — Attraction in Smithfield

Putting one star for this is really irritating. This is probably the one farm you should be skipping this season, especially if you have little ones. Once we arrived the line was fairly short so as many would do we cut under the rope, the line security with the blue hair was so rude to the kids, instead of asking the parents not to go under the rope she proceeds so scream at the kids telling them if they go near the rope one more time theyre getting kicked out. To add insult to injury, the scariest part of the trail was the wagon itself dragging on the ground. There was way too much dead space in between the ride. 20 minute ride with five minutes of spookiness. Once leaving we happened to touch the rope again, to get yelled at by line security. Lots of dead space I would have liked to see more things going on in the woods considering we are in the woods no one actually hiding out in the woods coming up to the trailer kinda boring for the time we spent in line waiting wished it was better.. hopefully next year they step it up a notch and bring more people in the woods to scare us and actually have ppl climb on the trailer it was like I was at a kids fun house .. if you guys need ideas I have plenty ... Staff and owner are nice although there was no social distancing in line and no one really addressed it at all... Staff wasn't on the same page either with the line situation it'd be better if they just had one line and everyone behind it instead of breaking it off into three lines and having other people that have waited longer go ahead of...

Went here last night with a few friends, it is cheaper than the other hayrides in the state and is much less of a wait. It's a pretty long ride over some rough terrain. Couple things were off like how I noticed almost everyone scaring here is a prepubescent girl. Though I feel like there was more effort by the actors here than at other rides. Other thing was that you can't see anything, its pitch black besides when the tractor stops at a scare. A bit off to pay for a haunted attraction and see literally nothing until the trailer stops, lights turn on you see the site and everything goes black again.
