The area for walking is far shorter than I had hoped (maybe .2 miles, being generous), but this place is so special. It reminds me of the bird sanctuaries in New Mexico, where birds from the North fly south to every winter. This place is teaming with birds!!!!
I have no notion of why, but I have never seen so many birds in one place in New England!
Do be ware that your wheels or your feet will have to dodge goose poop (be it on the path or the grass), but it is worth it to watch them play over the tiny waterfall at the end of the path.
I haven’t seen unleashed dogs here, which makes me happy, and it is super calm! The only people I’ve seen were fishing in the calm area where the water falls into.
Lovely place to just be and hear the birds and let your eyes feast on GREEN.
It would be fun to take a boat out here!!!

Water seems a little low quality like others said, but I wasn't there for the water. The concrete walking area is a great place to sit and hang out. Definitely worth the stop to eat some lunch or midnight snack...
