Hindu Temple in the COBB COUNTY area a very neat & tidy - calm & quiet place. Had an occassion to visit during the DASARA Festival time.Dasara celebrations/ RAVANA DAHAN were attended by few hundreds of people & women thronged in TRADITIONAL COSTUMES & many of the Gentlemen in Kurta Pyjamas, a scene to behold. The Strength of USA is in its DIVERSITY and the Indians are bringing cultural richness to the diverse country by passing on Glorious Indian Tradition/ Culture to the next generation of AMERICAN INDIANS, especially young ones born and brought up in America. Support the population getting from US government is incredible & hatsoff to few gentleman who voluntarily spend time/ money in keeping the Indian Tradition & organising this type of events...JAI HO... After we prayed to the god, he didn't even acknowledge us and offered any prasad. I thought he might be busy or could be a normal thing. And at very next moment, some one who he know came to pray and he immediately got up and offered fruit/prasad to her. Me and my family were just standing and he didn't even look at us. If you don't buy that ticket then u are not even allowed to go near the shiv lingam. And if you buy the ticket too then there is a big queue.
