First Assembly of God — Attraction in Sneads

Pentecostal Churck in Sneads Florida. Going with daughter in law. Great Sermons from preacher, good music. Sermons are biblically based and on topic. Preacher is educated and knowledgable on Christian Doctrine. Saying this, pPreacher did not talk to us as guest until we attended 2 months then only a handshake walking isle. This is non-typicsl of the many churches I have attended where I'm usually in conversation before or after service with pastor. Many friendly people at service. Televised sermons. Pentecostal, but refined and what I fell in fellowship with holy spirit and so far nothing that rattles this old Baptist... in fact I have enjoyed all the services. God is present.

Saying that the church itself is Lacking in post church fellowship. They do have paid church trips Appears they seldom if any post meeting fellowship meals. Men's group for me is more like private good ol boy with Skeet shooting on agenda? Again no Mens Breakfast meets, etc. This could be the small town, we all know each other thing. Or could be me of course that I am coming from a Mennonite Church which is heavy of church family which included before, during and after service with monthly fellowship meals, meets, park BBQ, outings etc. But, again I have spent past 5 years attending many churches and denominations and most have many before and after activities. Again, great church for uplifting, spirt filled, scriptural services. A good family church during church times. 4stars. One of best...

Pentecostal church. Not thst bad. As an old Baptist turn Mennonite, I still actually like this church h. Good fellowship though not personal. Been here a dozen times and yet to have anyone say more than hello except for out sweet neighbor who goes here. But this may just be the faith which I'm not accustomed. All are sweet and kind in spirit. Believe me, any visitor attending Mennonite church will be asked to diner by almost every member providing they are not eating at church...

This church is probably the largest Christian Church in town, the next being the First Baptist Church. It has a full church program with two services one Sundays and one on Wednesdays. The people attending the services are from all walks of life, all educational levels, all occupations, and all age groups. The music if full of praise and worship, with various musical instruments.
