Beautiful must-stop if you're traveling along highway 1 in Big Sur. I'd imagine if I ever was a pirate I'd park my ship here to hide away from the rough waves and take refuge in this gorgeous cove! Trail is currently under construction, so you can only go through the tunnel and up to directly diagonal above from the cove to see the McWay falls.
Park on the side of the road as the McWay canyon pfieffer state Park entrance is closed after hours and make your way...

To get to the overlook of the cove there is a little hike but nothing too hard. As this area can be popular at times of the year, parking can be a issue.
