We had the most incredible experience at Bartholomew Estate during our bachelorette wine tasting! From the moment we arrived, the setting was breathtaking — serene vineyards, shaded outdoor seating under the trees, and an overall vibe that was elegant yet relaxed. But what truly made our day unforgettable was Mason, our amazing host. He was not only knowledgeable and attentive, but also full of energy and fun — exactly what we needed for a celebration! Mason went above and beyond to take care of us, making sure everyone felt welcomed and engaged. The highlight? He brought us fresh grapes straight off the vine to taste — such a special and thoughtful touch that made the experience feel personalized and authentic. The wine was absolutely delicious, with a variety of beautifully crafted reds and whites that impressed our whole group. You could taste the quality and care in every glass. Even better, we learned that Bartholomew Estate is a philanthropic winery, giving back to the community — which made enjoying their wine feel even more meaningful. This was the perfect spot for our bachelorette celebration, and we left with full hearts (and maybe a few bottles to take home!). Huge thanks again to Mason for making our visit so memorable — you're a gem! Highly recommend Bartholomew Estate for anyone looking for a top-tier wine tasting experience with heart, flavor, and...
Read moreCame here for my birthday with a party of 8. We got there and the 2 hosts were helping a man buy a bottle of wine, it took a full 5 minutes for them to acknowledge we were there. When we got sat down the host girl left immediately after giving us menus without explaining anything. We sat there for a very long time and I had to actually flag someone down to take our order. We ordered flights the younger male waiter brought out our wine and literally said "you can read the description I'm not going to tell you what to think." What the actual f? So rude.
We started trying the wine and decided to walk around the property. 2 people stayed at the table. When we stepped away another waiter came up to our table with 2 people still sitting and demanded we pay the bill. We still had wine on the table it was clear we were coming back. I paid it to get the waiter to back off, but their system wasn't working and he was like "your cards not working!" It took him a couple of times to get their system to work. It's funny how it took forever to get served but they were on it when it came to pressing us to pay. All around it was the worst service I've ever received at a wine tasting and I'll never be back. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with us being the only table of brown/black people but it wasn't...
Read moreI’m a bit sad to leave just three stars, as I really wanted to enjoy my time at the winery more, but sadly it was lacking in several different ways and ended up being a lesser experience than some other wineries I’ve visited.
We had a lovely and kind server and an early seating. 11:30am. The young woman serving was brand new, which she shared with us, and while I want to give grace to a new employee, there were some slip ups that weren’t ideal. We were a bit rushed through the tasting (a flight of five wines) and they were served two at a time, which I found odd. It became hard to track which was which. (We were given two glasses each at the top) There were very few questions that could be answered without leaving to check on the answer. And then it was complete chaos to determine how we could take a bottle out to the picnic area. We could buy a bottle but had to open it outside and we couldn’t be lent a corkscrew so they said we’d have to buy one for $12. Absolutely ridiculous. So the server showed us which wines were screw top to avoid that expense.
Lastly, the pours were uneven and stingy at best. I sat at the first pour spot and quite clearly got the smaller pours each time. It just felt a bit insincere and cheap. Especially when I had three other guests at my table to be...
