Beautiful grounds, well kept, serene setting 4 stars. However, I called for a group reservation to have an Easter egg hunt for a small group of kids. I was told that they don't cater to groups larger than 60 and wouldn't allow it because the park is set up so that visitors are spaced out so the setting remains quiet and serene. This answer was contradictory to what was expressed later in the conversation where it was admitted that the park would be closed for a small group of 10 kids that would be having an Easter egg hunt on the same Saturday in question. Needless to say, I'm not impressed with your attempt at deceit OR your "group reservation" policy.

Fun but challenging hike. Started at the north end and it was quite an uphill climb from the start. Not impossible though. Just wore sneakers, hiking boots not really necessary. Saw one other couple on the cloudy mid-February day. Took us about 90 minutes. Highly recommend.

3 mile hiking trail, pretty steep. Beware of poison oak, wear long sleeves. Couple of creeks to cross, not big or deep but they’re slippery so watch out. Really pretty views. Bathrooms are near the gazebo, and they were spotless. Highly recommend.

My favorite place in Sonoma. Wonderful couple who manages the property. There's a meadow that reminds me of Narnia from the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. All levels of hiking, and my dog Mickey is allowed on a leash (a lot of Sonoma hiking trails do not allow dogs period). Highly recommend - though I almost want to rate it poorly because one of the best things about it is that not many people know about it, so it's...
