Highly unprofessional and expensive, not recommended. While writing this review l will point out a few things which l happened with me, explaining my 1 star. They charge 120$ for 90 mins whereas smart driving school and others in this area charge 100$ for 90 mins. In both cases the instructor comes to your house and takes you out to practice. They have a policy in which you have to pay an advance of 40$ to book your class l was fine with that, what they did not tell me is that even if l cancel the class l have to still pay remaining 80$, one night just before my class l was severely sick with low blood pressure l told the instructor l cannot come to the class the next day. Even then the instructor came outside my house the next day and kept calling me to go down. Please tell me reader how do you expect a person with low BP to drive a car around for 90 mins ?? l later talked to him he just kept saying you should not have cancelled. I apologized and thought that the advance money will be deducted l was fine with that. l accepted that my sudden illness was not his fault so l did not say anything. However before my next scheduled class they asked me to pay remaining 80$ for the previous class which l missed. l was appalled but l did not want to make a fuss and made the payment and took another class with them. After that l just had 1 more class scheduled and my road test. Coming to my road test it was on 25th august which l had told them in the very beginning and they had assured me they would give a training that day and also take me to my road test. BUT they suddenly told me before my road test that their boss is going on a vacation and that is why the school is going to remain closed so they cannot do anything for my road test. Neither provide a car not a trainer nothing, because their boss is going on vacation and no one is going to work. This was highly unprofessional l held my end of the bargain and paid whatever amount of money they demanded but they did not. They tried to take advantage of my good nature and tried to extract as much money possible from me. I would advice you to go to any other school but...

I had the worst experience today with Amar Driving school. The manager or whoever is in charge of this place was very rude to my father when we tried to talk in a civilized manner. The manager wouldn’t allow us to to speak and just kept yelling on the phone regarding my session. Basically 5 minutes into my lesson the manager called my instructor to drop me home because I couldn’t do 2 hours. I had already made my payment for an hour and the manger refused to let me finish or even give me a refund. I didn’t expect this type of behavior from this school. It was ridiculous. Luckily I got to finish my hour lesson thanks to the instructor but the manager VERY rude.

As for my overall “driving lesson” it wasn’t worth the money I paid. I definitely could’ve gotten a better experience elsewhere because the instructor would constantly be checking his phone while I was driving barely paying attention to me. He’d look up from his phone to see the road and that’s all. He even spoke to his friend on the phone with his speaker on while I was driving! That’s very distracting especially for someone like me who’s a new driver. Although he was a kind instructor he wasn’t being professional and barely gave any advice or feedback on what I need to improve on or work on. He didn’t communicate properly. His name is Chokri I believe. Overall I won’t ever be contacting this school again. I recommend getting your...

Fortunately, I passed the road test today not because of instructor RAJU. I could have failed because of him. Instead of motivating the student driver he talks all the time and don't listen to the student driver at all what they are saying. He doesn't care whether you are pass or fail, they are after money. I personally recommend Magdy from St.Mina's driving school. I took only one hour class with him and learnt a lot. In 3 sessions with Raju, I learnt nothing he keeps giving instructions and hold your steering and keeps on talking and he gets angry whenever you try to request him for anything. We are actually paying for the service they are providing but he feels like as he is doing some free service. I don't recommend this instructor RAJU at all from this driving school, I don't know about other instructors from this driving school. He doesn't want us to talk to our family members while in the car in passenger seat. This is my own experience. I chose this guy because I don't have any other option at all. If you have choice then better to...

I definitely recommend amar driving school. I am very anxious with my driving and came in without knowing how to parallel. Did the same day lesson before my drive test, got taught how to properly and easy way to do a parallel parking, ease up my nerves and definitely driving much better than before. One of the cheapest driving school and lessons you can get but you will definitely learn and I passed after one try.

Amar driving school was highly recommended if you need driving lessons. I was one of their students and they taught me well with techniques on not just to pass my drive test easily but how to be a responsible driver. I just had my 2 hr lessons from them and they made it so easy for me to have my license. Of course with the help of their staff instructors especially Raul and mike.

Amar driving school helped me clear my driving test. Shukri gave me good lessons in driving in 2 sessions I had. I have prior driving experience from India. On the day of driving test Raju refreshed the class one time and provided tips. The cars provided are good and on driving day I had a car with rear camera which helped further.
