Nice dog park with some good people but, there are those who do not follow the rules thus being inconsiderate of others. Overly aggressive dogs, not picking up their own mess and just recently I encountered a woman with a 3-4 year old child. The rules prohibit children 6 and under. Despite using peer pressure she did not leave the park. The child ran at my dog who does not like that and agitated him. I left the park . Children can attend any park and with so few dog parks, so unfair and selfish of this woman. I am sure the police have better things to do than correct an adults wrong behavior, but what to do when peer pressure fails ? Really is a visit at your own risk there. There should be some citizens get together , a type of committee, to oversee the park and enforce the rules. Someone to call and be close by to come follow up on...
Read moreStopped by for the Splash Pad on 2 occasions. Both times it was closed. No signage and it doesn’t look like it will ever open (“Danger” painted on the front gate). The rest of the park looked decent but not exceptionally well cared for so we didn’t stay. The kids wanted water play so we went home and played with a sprinkler. Which is fine but I wasted so much time getting ready and driving there and back. There are other parks for which we will drive 3 times as far. Which is sad because we live so close but the time is better invested in a park that is actually open during 80+...
