I've visited this campus a couple of times while I was a student in high school. It's a relatively small college adjacent to the historic Firestone Plant and a Carl's Jr. One of the unique features that this school has is transportation. Since it's on Firestone Blvd, many students have accessibility via Metro Blue Line and the local 115 bus. Perhaps most importantly, this school has the ELAC shuttle, and it's a total advantage for students due to ridership via Monterey Park's main campus. It's free to use and I believe they operate on Mondays-Thursdays. This makes personal cars unnecessary and saves a great deal of time and money. It shouldn't be a surprise then, locals ulitlize this to their advantage and many current high school graduates, nearby, attend here. On the contrary, if I've known this if I were younger, I would've been a continuing student. However, I'm glad I didn't attend, due to many familiar faces!
