MAY 2024 - I have ended my 10+ years relationship with Winterberry Gardens. This company is under new management for landscaping/maintenance and the quality of work has been lowered significantly.
We have given over $50,000 to Winterberry landscaping, irrigation, and lawn care, including a major landscaping project for over $25,000.
Normally reliable, this company has been unable to resolve an issue of their doing for several months now. I have been very blunt in my communications asking for resolution, however, all I've gotten is excuses and landscaping mumbo jumbo double -talk as to why the issue exists.
if you value your money, I would steer clear of Winterberry Gardens, you can thank me later.
JULY 1 2021 - Marcus and his team did another fantastic job! Landscaping needed pruning, mulch, and the back hill needed weeding and all the stones reset. LOOKS AMAZING and we are very happy.
As usual, his staff was very professional, on-time, job completed on time and the work done properly the first time, and every time.
Thanks Marcus!!!!
Did a large landscaping project for our house 7 years ago with Winterberry, its still looks amazing. Cheryl was the designer, very professional and a great designer.
Winterberry has been maintaining our project for 7 years. Their maintenance crews are great workers, always proficient, professional, and do the job right, and most of all, doing the job completely. Special thanks to Marcus & his crew for finishing our Spring clean-up and mulch yesterday, we have a lot of people coming over for Easter, and the landscaping looks terrific. I would highly recommend...

It's a weekly pleasure to visit Winterberry Gardens to see what's new and exciting in The Garden Center.
I always stop in to see John or Margret in the Perennial section to get advise on my Serenity Garden. My never ending backyard project. Recently, John special ordered me a few Corydalis lutea off my wish list and they added that yellow touch of color to dull area of my garden. Adrianna and Gina are always the first WB associates you'll see, Always smiling (ALWAYS) and will direct you to the proper section or get that expert you may need for your home gardening project.
Ashley's knowledge about just about everything is impressive,It's very apparent she loves what she's doing!
Mike Wrobel is never to busy to stop and say Hello and he's always busy,He's also the leader of this Extreme staff.
Last but not least is my personal WB Gardens shopping/designing associate assistant "Christina". Just a few weeks back she helped me designed and selected the new multi colored Big leaf hydrangea's for a side project. We did this all on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. I think she would have helped me dig out the stumps in the area I did the planting if I asked. Next time I'll ask !!. When you visit the W.B.G. your referred to as a guest, I feel that I'm past that Guest stage and prefer to be a Friend of the WB. Great Job By All ... Oh ...the ice teas on me ! Thanks...
Read moreIf you are looking for a single plant, a whole new landscape, or just a little inspiration Winterberry Gardens is the best place to purchase from. The staff is incredibly knowledgable, the selection is vast but locally sourced (so you know it has a good chance of hacking it around here) and they stand by their products with a warranty for one year after purchase. Sure, you may find some of these varieties for a few dollars cheaper at Lowes or Home Depot, but you also run a much higher chance of losing the plants to neglect (before you even got them) and getting no reimbursement. You'll end up paying one way or the other, I think it's best to do it once and do it right even if it costs a few dollars extra.
I've ended up redoing most of my flower gardens with perennials from Winterberry over the past two years. All but one plant has been successful (with over 25 purchased) and the one that bit the dust was replaced easily and at no cost to me. Listen to the staff, most will give you tips on how to plant and maintain your purchases... and this isn't Joe from plumbing that's working a day in the garden center... it's a professional...
