Canyon View Park is such a hidden gem! I stopped by to relax and read, and it was absolutely perfect. The park sits beside a peaceful little pond surrounded by tall trees and greenery, making it feel tucked away and serene, even though it’s just off Powerhouse Road. There are benches and shaded spots all around the water, and the reflection of the trees on the pond makes it feel like a calming retreat. It was quiet when I went (around 7:30 PM), which made it ideal for unwinding, journaling, or getting lost in a good book. You can hear the sounds of nature, and the view is so relaxing—truly one of my new favorite places to just be. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful in Spanish Fork where you can breathe, reflect, or read in nature. Bonus: it’s easy to find and has decent parking too.

This park is much bigger than it seems. There are picnic tables available throughout the park, as well as pavilions to reserve. There is a pond at one end with fishing available and ducks. Rather picturesque. The water level seems low right now, but Utah is experiencing a drought, so that's not really surprising. The park has plenty of space and seems like a great place for a party, a reunion, or just for relaxing.

A great park, we love to visit the geese. It's got a lake, a nice stream, a playground, a public restroom, big trees and nice grass and picnic tables. Everything you need for a nice afternoon away from home.

The Festival of Lights takes place every Christmas season. It is a family tradition.

It is especially popular with the little kids. Maybe it is because we allow them to get our of their car and booster seats and ride on adult laps while driving the two or three miles an hour through the lights.

The excitement in the children's eyes makes the whole thing worth while. We take time to point out the different scenes. We all talk about which if the lighted scenes is our favorite. We normally are bundled up and have the windows rolled down.

Often, the closer that you get to Christmas day, the longer the line gets to wait to get in to the park. But everyone is kind and patient. After all it is the Christmas season. As it is only $8.00 per car load, it is quite affordable as a Christmas activity.

Visiting the festival of lights is often something that we do in conjunction with another activity like meeting at a restaurant. After which we all pile into...

I have so many memories for each and every season at this park. Spring was night-time bike rides with friends down to the park so we could feed the ducks and play in the gazebo Summer included BBQ’s, fishing, family home evenings, kickball, and capture the flag. Fall included school dances and pictures, date nights, and ward parties Winter was the Spanish Fork City Festival of Lights that has grown so much in the last years! The park has a bunch of different spots for rent with built in grills and water. Two different playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, swings, a trail to walk, and a pond with fish, ducks, and many other secret places to explore. Bathrooms are there and there is...
