Let me start off by saying that my review at minimum would be a 4.5, however, due to a few recent experiences my rating is much lower. First, the accessibility and cleanliness of the park is awesome. The only exception is that the fish cleaning station on site has been closed/out of order for months. Carrie, (apologies if I spelled that wrong) the supervisor is very friendly and engaged with people. The issue that causes this to be a negative review, however is another member of the staff. There is a man there who on multiple occasions is overtly rude, closes the reservoir/park way too early, and frankly is unpleasant and makes people not want to come there. I have spoken to the city about the issue, and the response I get is that they will talk with him. It seems as the only change after this "talk" is that his behavior has gotten increasingly more rude...

Classic community water hole. A bit cold at the beginning of the season, but if you’re going for the fishing aspect, that won’t matter. I love how you can set up all the way around this reservoir so that even when there’s lots of people, it still doesn’t feel like it. This has been our go-to spot for years during the summer and my friends and I love it. It definitely has its weird sides tho. The cement is pretty slippery with moss so be careful getting in unless you’re on the beach. There’s also 3 giant logs floating in it that are great for people who don’t have paddle boards or inflatable stuff. Just be aware that there’s no lifeguard and the logs aren’t tethered...

This is a great place! My little kids had a great time playing in the sand by the water. We also did some SUP boarding and the reservoir had perfect conditions for that. We also stayed at the campground (non electric) up the hill from the campground. Nice sites. A little loud on the weekends so be aware of that. The playground was also super fun for the kids. But our favorite part of this awesome area was the MTN biking trails. Set up for downhill riding, these trails were super fun and start near the reservoir or at the top of the campground (campground is on a hillside). If you are coming to camp bring your lake stuff, camping gear and your mtn bikes for a...

You can catch some pretty big fish they were biting off green power bait! No fishing from the beach!!!! It is steep do be careful and if you get close to the water on the side it is sometimes slippery! Lots of people fly fish and you can catch lots! There is a playground at the top a pavilion you can reserve! Wheelchair accessible thry have a ramp! Public restrooms! The fish cleaning station is broken! They have a ramp for kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, kick boats! It does get really busy on the beach in the summer months!

The trails at Spanish Oaks are awesome. They're getting pretty beat up, but they're still super fun. It's easy to lap both the flow trails (a few hundred feet of climbing each). The upper trail, Red Knoll Rampage is definitely advanced, comparable to Levitate (Corner Canyon) or Tidal Wave (Deer Valley). The lower one (can't remember the name) is comparable to Vertigo (Corner Canyon). Both are super fun! There are also a ton of trails round about that add some chunk and steep DH. Definitely check it out!
