10.20.23: Tonight my friend and her daughter invited me to join them for Corn Maze fun at the Andelin Family Farm. They gave us a punch card and it made going through the maze that much more fun since it was kind of like a treasure hunt. If you find at least 6/10 stops then when you exit and show them, they'll give you a sticker. Who doesn't like stickers!? There's a QR code that you can scan and it takes you the online map of the corn maze. There are also 3 hidden stops that are not on the map.
It's cool that they offer more than just a corn maze and have a couple of selections for activities for both families and teenagers/young adults. If you're into getting spooked, they have an option for a Scary Haunted Corn Maze. We heard lots of screams from people who sounded like they were having fun. They also have Zombie Paintball, where I'm told you aim and shoot zombies in the back of a truck while they drive by. There's also another area of the farm we didn't get to check out because we got there right at 8p when that section closes. There's a booth for merch and candy and there were a couple food trucks offering food and drink.
Overall, this is a nice place for a seasonal outing, whether with family,...

Read moreWell worth the hour drive each way. This is our second visit to their baby animals festival ( the first time was 4 or 5 years ago). All the staff are super friendly and helpful. You need to reserve your check in time, but they are true to their word that once you have arrived, you can stay as long as you wish. I had to make 2 trips out to the car and had no hassle about coming back in. They give about most staying 90-120 mins and we had seen all the things at least once by the 2 hour mark. We stayed longer than that.
In addition to seeing all the animals, the toddler loved the rubbery ducky gutter/water pump race set up just as much as her older brother did when he was about 10. She also stock tank plastic fishing pond. Both the toddler and the teenager enjoyed the jump pad ( new this year). The adults love to see silly struggles and fumbles as the kids try hamster wheel.
This was our first family adventure out now that the adults are vaccinated, but of course the kids are not yet. Lots of room to spread out. Signs to remind everyone to mask up. Plenty of hand sanitizing stations. (Also the cleanest port of potties I think I...
