I was honestly shocked by just how awful the service was. To start, my order was almost entirely wrong or missing items. I ordered online and they gave me the wrong sandwich, they also didnāt give me the bread bowl for my soup. When I brought this up the girl at the window just told me they were out and didnāt seem to want to try to fix the situation, even though I payed for the bread bowl. After waiting awkwardly she offered to size up our soup. When we parked to check our food we saw we had the wrong sandwich, and no utensils. We went inside and it was so crazy in there. Nobody wanted to help us but the young girl at the counter. She looked like she had no idea what to do. Eventually she took our order back and said the kitchen would remake our food. Also, I know itās Panera policy to offer a cookie when something like this happens, but they didnāt fulfill this until I asked. Fifteen minutes later and the sandwich still wasnāt done. The girl said she would go check on it, then never came back. Then I watched the manager Brian make a worker come tell me itās being worked on because he refused to speak to us. Also, I watched them start making the sandwhich- which means that they hadnāt even started fixing the order until then. Also, something that was so weird was the other manager Riley was actively drinking a DutchBros coffee at the register while taking orders AND IN THE KITCHEN, which is a health code violation. Iāve never seen that. Another ten minutes later and the manager Brian made a very sweet young worker take the blame for the food and throw themself under the bus. By the time I got back to my car, all our food was cold and the sun was set. At no point were we offered anything for our troubles. No refunds or coupons or compensation. We had to beg for them to fix the food we ordered, they honestly looked annoyed and confused that we wanted the stuff we paid for. Anyways, Panera do better. I feel bad for the workers under that management. And I know itās all under the general manager, Anthonyās, fault. This experience took soo long for food my child soiled herself in our car seat. When we finally got our order; I was assured it was correct by a rude young lady at the drive thru window as she shoved the bag into my window. When I drove off I noticed the bag was wet. Thank God I checked the bag! The soup lid was off and half of it spilled in the bag, my truck and myself. Great soup lid tightening training from Panera Bread. Reminds me of McDonald's coffee. Upon further investigation of the sloppy mess I noticed a sandwich was missing. I paid for it. Why did Panera Bread withhold my sandwich I wondered? So I went inside and was meet with a group of clueless high school students and their coward of a manager. This gentleman wouldn't even speak to me to resolve this issue and I assume spent most of his time crying in the back office. This leadership was concerning. His eyes were very bloodshot and he acted very jittery as he hide behind the assistant manager. I'd like to mention the assistant manager of this location handled the situation perfectly.
