The cleanest, most fully stocked, and not crowded grocery store! I can leave spending $200 for A TON of groceries and it would’ve cost me $400 at Walmart!!

They also have delicious fresh made sushi, (🍱 my daughter will demolish the full platter $20 tray in a sitting after 4 hours of gymnastics 🤸) and some of the best cuts of meat you can get at a grocery store.

Pre-made dinners are reasonably priced and delicious!!! Hot and ready rotisserie chickens not only a great price but so moist! Never dry like the ones that sit out under a heat lamp all day, re-placed back into the refrigerator then placed back under a heat lamp the next day….

Wanna know who does ^^^ that!? SAVEMART right across the way 🤮 I worked there through COVID as an overnight stocker and would clean / organize the aisles. I even cashiered for awhile until the casinos opened back up. I loved working there. But it always bothered me that they had many poor food handling and health violations. I was in the food and beverage industry over 15 years! I am a stickler when it comes to the laws and regulations around food handling, as well as business practices and customer service!! Basically the worst go out to dinner with person!!! Unless it’s a killer restaurant!!

But ya back to Winco 🐿️!!! This is my favorite grocery store and only place we regularly buy our meat from!! Love the convenience and not chaotic shopping experience!!

I am almost positive I've written a review about WinCo? But, since they are my absolute #1 place to grocery shop, I'll do this review. If you are shopping at oh, Raley's or Save Mart. Stop, just stop. You are spending waaayy too much money on items that are literally, almost half the cost at WinCo. Walmart shoppers? I get it, it's your 'one stop shop' for pretty much anything you need- and having the grocery section pretty much seals the deal. But once again, it's all about saving big on your food bill. I'll give you one real good example: the Meat Department. WinCo has the best meat prices out of any grocery store here in Reno. And I'm not talking about something that's on sale somewhere else. I'm talking about all of the time! Other stores are finally catching up with this, but they have a 'Buy in Bulk' section that is pretty dynamic- lots to choose from. They also always have seasonal and/or Holiday items for sale as well- right now they have anything from super soft blankets, to slippers, to pet winter wear. And so much more! Aaaaand..... they are open 24 hours. This store is at least worth checking out. Trust me, you will end up shopping here more...

Upon entering this store I was completely astonished at how clean and very accessible the store is with the wide aisles and bright lighting throughout the store. I so appreciated the well stocked shelves on every aisle and was able to buy everything off my shopping list with the exception of my favorite flavored bottle water "Hint". All of the employees who I approached were cordial and helpful in directing me to the right aisle for what I was looking for! Christine the cashier gave me the most amazing customer service and informed me of the reusable bag policy where if you bring your own bag you get a 6 cents discount on every bag that you bring to the store to bag your groceries. Very glad to have been told about this store policy and I really appreciate it as a customer. I commuted 29 miles from Fernley and it was a pleasure to have shopped in such a great store such as this! Will be returning here as I'm sick and tired of dealing with a dirty Walmart in Fernley that has bare empty shelves, mispriced items, and employees that don't exhibit any customer service skills whatsoever! Thank you Winco Foods for giving me a wonderful grocery...
