Echo Trail Park — Attraction in Spring Valley

With not many parks available in this area, this is a well-appointed one that has a lot to offer for everyone for its size.

The shaded playground is small but diverse enough to keep the interest of the kiddos.

The splash pad is something that all LV green spaces should have.

There's a packed dirt trail that makes for a great hike/run.

The circular real grass field is large enough to accommodate multiple groups and all sort of sporty things (think catch, fetch, volleyball).

There are even 3 exercise stations that have your core, push, and pull exercises covered.

Places to picnic, restrooms, and lots of parking is a plus.

There's a nice tennis court, but only one.

The pet station is always stocked, and the park is impeccably maintained.

The only gripe I have is the type of exercise stations offered use metal tension hinges, which have a super limited range of motion (aka not many people will be able to use them effectively). I'd much rather see the type that uses your body weight as a cantilever and/or traditional calisthenic type devices (stepped pull up bar heights, pushup bars, step up posts, crunch/situp platforms, etc).

I'll be coming here more regularly since it makes a 5K round trip jog to my place, and I can get my cardio and resistance training...

We have all been waiting so long for this park to open, the time has finally come!! So excited!! Love the coverage from the sun on the playground. Tons of slides and different climbing equipment on the playground. Lots of walking baths, some workout equipment along one of the paths and beautifully green grass.

The splash pad wasn't on yet, but it looks great. I am guessing they will turn it on tomorrow for the grand opening. No slides. Covered picnic area, some grills and some benches. My daughter is so thrilled this park is finally open and so am I. A nice walk for us to hang out and play. Wish there was some kind of fencing around the play area since Russell is a 4 lane road now. However, there is plenty of space between the street and the actual playground.

Love this park bcas it has a decent sized grass field for our kids to sit or run around on , it has tennis courts, a splash pad that's right next to the shaded playground. Which I always appreciate a shaded playground. We need more of those in las vegas. There's also 2 shaded picnic tables next to the playground.

The only thing I would say is be careful going into the bathrooms. I've seen a few homeless people living in...
