We come across three small dogs running around with no leash in less than 20 minutes. People here have a habit of letting their small dogs roam off the leash. Some of those small dogs are vicious. My bully was close to ripping apart 2 small dogs that ran up on us and my 2 toddlers. Might have to let my dog rip up the next animal that approaches my children like that. This neighborhood is iffy. They say the West side is safer than the east side in Vegas but you really need to just be aware of your surroundings no matter where you are because a lot of crazy stuff has happened in this area while I've lived in Spring Valley.

This was a great park that my kids (3 & 5)enjoyed. The "splash pad" was very simple and boring with only 2, barely working, water features and worn out ground covering. We walked around the path where there is a small work out area with different excercises listed to do. There is also a small community center attached but it looked like it was already closed when we were at the park.

It is an old park, which is perfect for Vegas. It means lots of trees and natural shade which is the most appreciated when it's hot outside. It has a playground, which is more like 3+ and there is a splash pad for all ages. They have swings for infants and older kids. The park itself is big and pet friendly.

Playground equipment is sufficient (not the newest stuff), my daughter had fun. They now have shade up now which is great. However, there is always trash all over. A lady on the bench next to me said there is always trash at that park it's just the way it is.

My toddler felt the need to try and pick up all the trash, but it was way to much for her. Grassy areas, a walking trail and some of the random workout equipment on the trail as well. Just wish people didn't leave their trash...

A community park in a great neighborhood. Families, baseball and softball teams, and situated near a school and a wonderful Church. If you are a local- it's worth braving the Hot Sun! As an awesome and humble Google Guide (heheheh) I have to be honest; many "locals" come across as downright unfriendly in this part of Las Vegas. Understandable, as Las Vegas is EXACTLY what it is... But in this park you can expect a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere. I say check it...
