This park is an extremely clean park and has a playground for children, restrooms, wonderful extensive paved walking trails through the woods and along the river, large pavilions along with picnic areas and many picnic tables, bbq grills, fishing, lots of wildlife, several river observation decks, and some of the largest trees I've seen in Minnesota. Read moreI just love this north part of the park. I discovered it one weekend when I was visiting my friend in Isanti for the weekend and I brought my dog. We decided to stop at the park on my way back to the cities as my girl is a big swimmer! The best thing about this entrance is it's free!! Because it's notthe Central Park entrance and considered a fishing pier and canoe access you don't have the state park fee. A great walking trail, probably a mile.
