West Feliciana Historical Society and Museum — Attraction in St. Francisville

We just honestly had to use the restroom and there was nowhere else to go.. so yeah we went there.. not from there.. I do have passed on family members and friends that are from here.. but yeah we saw this really cozy looking building and yeah.. went in and it looks incredible in there! Very beautifully done in there! Definitely will be going back to check things out again! This time! Won't be just to use their bathrooms. Awesome place. Located in a historic building, and Saint Francisville, Louisiana. The lady working here, on this Sunday morning, did a great job of pointing out all the historical parts of this town. In addition they have some John James Audubon prints, for sale at reasonable prices, so we had to pick one up while we were there. Although the museum is small, it is well worth your visit. Admission is free. This is our first time visiting Saint Francisville, and we wanted to find out as much as we could about the history...

For a disabled person it was tough to get inside but once inside the people who were running it we're extremely Pleasant. My wife had the opportunity to speak with the president of the Historical Society who shared lots of information with her. She lives across the street and was born and raised in that building.
