Fantesca Estate & Winery — Attraction in St. Helena

During our Christmas Trip to Napa, Sonoma and Lake Tahoe we stoped at Fantesca to start off the morning of day 4.

We arrived at 10am and Alex had 2 glasses of sparkling to walk around the outside grounds of the property. The views are very relaxing, quite and peaceful. Then we moved to the tasting room where an impressive setup of glasses were already served. We tried around 4 or 5 wines, started with the Chardonnay, moving to the Kings Pinot (not my thing but not bad) and ending with the big boys Cabernets.

The decoration inside is very contemporary and immaculate, the presentation by Alex was second to none, a lot of history with fun facts and the wines are high quality.

PS, a couple of days ago I got a call in reference to a pending order. After a few minutes going back and forth about the shipping speed & cost they offered me an upgrade so I could get through the social-distancing period drinking their Chardonnay. Our visit to Fantesca Estate & Winery was an unforgettable experience. As someone who has owned a couple of specialty wine shops and worked in the industry, I understand that relationships are of the utmost importance in this business. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Roman, who guided us through the tasting with such passion and knowledge. His enthusiasm for the wines and the vineyard truly made the experience special.

A highlight of our visit was the opportunity to meet DLynn Proctor as his personal stories added a unique touch to our afternoon. It was incredible to hear from someone so deeply involved in the craft and someone who's career we have followed for years.

The wines were exceptional, and the stunning views of the vineyard made for a perfect backdrop. We left with great memories and several bottles to enjoy at home. Highly recommend Fantesca Winery for anyone looking for a top-notch wine experience.
