Platinum in the city Salon — Attraction in St. Louis

I have been a client of Susan's for over 10 years. She works within my budget and suggests styles and colors that are flattering. I don't like to have to worry about what to do with my hair. I just want to know that it will look good. For reference, I'm in my 30s with wavy, thick hair and I work in an office environment. I get tons of compliments on my hair thanks to Susan! I trust her expertise.

The salon is in a convenient, easy-to-access location. The salon is clean and sanitized. Salon music it is a pet peeve of mine. If I'm stuck in the chair for 3 hours, it better be good! The music is good and at an appropriate volume.

The staff and clientele are diverse and easygoing. Another pet peeve of mine is annoying conversation between staff but everyone here is professional and kind. No pretentiousness. A true family-owned, community-based business.

Any client would be in good hands at Platium in the City! They work with all hair types and clients of all ages and genders. On my last visit the chair to my right was a child under 10 getting braids and the chair to my left was a woman over 50 getting a no-frills crop. If you wanted a hot pink mohawk, I'm sure they could do that, too.

I am absolutely in love with the experience I had at Platinum in the City Salon. Kelly Stone was very straight forward on the entire process from start to finish. She listened to what I wanted and added what she thought as well. My hair is fabulous and I’ve had so many compliments.
