Mill creek park is not just a park... it's a place where you can do just about anything and everything you can imagine for family outings! Our family goes here atleast once a week and that's if I'm working a lot that week. There is so much to do here! You can go to the newly remodeled playground area which is pictured here, you can walk the trail that goes around the entire park with frequent exercising equipment to use every couple of yards into you walk. These are actually really good for not just adults but the kids as well. They have a blast working out like mommy and daddy! Then you have the vast array of sports and their playing fields to use recreationally or join us in the recreation department and get into our teams! We have just about every sport and great volunteers and sportsmanship in bulloch county and the kids play every chance they get! (Soccer is more their go-to sport). I know they just put in a huge batting cage so any baseball players may want to come work on some batting skills! Let's see... we have the huge pond in the middle of the park which has a beautiful bridge you can walk over it on. They hold lots of fishing tournaments for the kids and we like to feed the turtles, fish, and ducks as much as possible there too so that's always a fun time. You got grills, plenty of space to have birthday parties even covered under the shelters because georgia weather is bi-polar so... lol but splash in the boro is there, the list goes on and on... our families favorite part about mill creek is the fact that we can go there multiple times a week to get out of the house and not ever have to pay a dime while there. That comes in handy when times are tight. There is always something going on and plenty of children there to play. We have had nothing but amazing experiences there and come on out sometime cuz ya know we...
Read morePark was nicely built. Saw a few bouncy houses while I was there and inquired about their services. There were two separate businesses, one I did not get a chance to meet, but the other servicer, the one that the park uses all the time or suggests is not so kind. I live in atlanta and I visit statesboro on occasions. Its all about following the rules and we[as grown people] must follow and obey the rules. Common Sense. College Graduate. The owner of the bouncy hounce business told me that they use him because he follows the park rules. As if he is the only person that follows the rules. Then proceeds to tells me, he is not trying to be short with me, but? But what? Who says i'm not trying to be short with you, when your conducting business. Period. Guess he assumed I was illiterate, dumb, or slow. If your having a party at this park I highly recommend you do not use this business. Do not ask the park. They will refer you to him. I have my own bouncy house business so maybe he was intimated. Not sure but if the park recommend someone do not use him! Rude and doesn't need a business for children because even if I am competition you should never be sacred of your competitors. God will provide no matter how good or bad your service is, definitely taught me how not to treat people just because I own a bouncy house business. Do better statesboro, life is to short. I will be bringing my own...
Read morePlayground is very visible from most sides, restrooms are clean, park is dog friendly with most dog owners appropriately cleaning after their pets. There are picnic tables, sidewalks for walking around pond area, a few places to sit and talk around the pond, on the ball fields, or on the playground only. There is some public exercise equipment along the walking trail, fish to feed from a sturdy bridge, softball and soccer areas and of course Splash in the Boro! Fireworks on the 4th of July are a Must See! I would suggest you bring your own folding chair or blanket though. My only other wish for the park is to make🍦 icecream/ Italian Ice carts and beef 🌭 hotdog vendors a part of the experience! (Hint-hint) Please take the hint, Park...
