Gorgeous falls in July! Pretty busy on the 4th, but that's to be expected for such an accessible spot. The pool is swimmable, if cold; dogs are welcome; the path is mostly level and relatively short, and it culminates in a set of 4 stone steps that lead to uneven basalt ground that is flat in some places and slippery in others. That basalt leads you right to the pool. The creek then runs down into several shallow pools before going around some logs and becoming steeper. Lots of little ones exploring the main area, a few sturdy logs to sit on, many small flat spaces perfect for sitting.
